Pilates was founded in the 1920s by physical trainer Joseph Pilates to help bedridden patients maintain their strength during World War I. It is a safe & effective method of rehabilitation & exercise that focuses on toning muscles & improving strength & flexibility. This class consists of various exercise sequences performed in low repetitions, allowing participants to progress at their own pace over a 60-minute session. We will be offering a total of four classes at the church in our Connect Centre led by a Pilates instructor. Come prepared to feel better in your body!
